The Obuasi Municipal NADMO Department in collaboration with AGAMAL, OMA Environmental Health Dept., Ghana Prison Service, Ghana Fire Service, AYAZ and Baba 1 did carried out desilting exercise at Nhyieso community to desilt gutters and drains leading to river brim to mitigate flooding. The exercise was conducted on 25th and 26th February 2026, and it is part of the routine climate change program exercise spearheaded by the NADMO Department of Obuasi.
