A day training workshop of GIZ dLRev Revenue Collection Software was organised by the Obuasi Municipal Assembly for its Revenue Collectors. The workshop was held on Friday 19th August 2022 at the Municipal Assembly’s conference room, Obuasi for 25 revenue collectors.
Facilitator for the training, Mad. Agnes Amoah who is also Municipal Physical Planning Officer took the trainers through the processes of using the dLRev online software on the field of collection with portable devices such as tablets, smartphones, etc to collect Property and BOP rates.
However, Mad. Agnes also tasked the trainee collectors to take the use of the software seriously to avoid encountering problems whenever they go out to collect the rates from the property owners.
Present at the training were Mr. Zakaria Yahaya–Municipal Finance Officer, Mad. Edna Arkoh–Municipal Budget Analyst, Mr. Frederick Adum–Head, Municipal Revenue Unit, Mr. Salifu Amidu–Head, MIS Unit, Mr. Richmond Inkum- Officer at the Revenue Unit, and other Officers from Municipal Planning Unit.
