During the LEAP programmed, Seven hundred and seventeen (717) beneficiary household received cash grants covering 64th to 69th payment cycles. A total amount of three hundred and fifty eight thousand, four hundred and twenty eight Ghana cedis (Ghc358,428.00) was paid to them.
Six (6) Monitoring and Evaluation meetings were held with LEAP Implementation Committee (CLIC) members and Municipal LEAP Implementation Committee (MLIC) members during the year under review. Before every payment the Department went round the LEAP communities for sensitization and education of beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries of the programme were assisted to register or renew their NHIS membership.

HOSPITAL WELFARE SERVICES
The Department offered various forms of assistance to the Obuasi Government Hospital by tracing the families of three (3) on admission whose families were unknown
