Honorable Elijah Adansi-Bonah has admonished Heads of Department in the Municipality to pay attention to the newly introduced MMDCEs dashboard.

The MCE said this at a Municipal Planning Coordinating Unit (MPCU) meeting held at the OMA Conference room on Wednesday 22nd February 2023.

The dashboard is a ICT-based feedback system introduced by the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development which helps to facilitate direct engagement with MMDCEs on pertinent issues in all the MMDAs.

With the dashboard, all MMDCEs would be required to provide updates on their deliberative and administrative functions; Local Economic Development; Revenue Mobilisation and Management; Infrastructure, Social Services as well as special initiatives and other flagship programmes.

Hon Adansi-Bonah stated that it was important for heads of department and units of the Assembly to come forth with accurate data to ensure uniformity in the information supplied to the Ministry every quarter.

The Municipal Development Planning officer Joseph Asibi Bashir seized the opportunity to brief HODs on the NDPC core indicators.

The Municipal Coordinating Director Francis Dwira Darko was present and added his voice on the need for the transmission of accurate data regarding the MCE’s dashboard.
