The Administrator for the Minerals Development Fund Dr. Norris Kweku Hammah has expressed satisfaction with the progress of work on a 6-unit classroom block at Kokoteasu in the Obuasi Municipality.
He made this known when he led a team from the MDF and the Local Management Committee to inspect the project sit on Wednesday, 21st April, 2021.
The purpose of the visit according to Dr. Hammah was to monitor the progress of Local Management Committee projects, challenges and recommendations.
He urged the contractor of the project to finish within the stipulated time.
Meanwhile, the Assembly through the Local Management Committee has lined up projects to be financed through the MDF. This include a Clinic at the Central Business District (CBD).
The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Elijah Adansi-Bonah and other Heads of Department were all present.
