Team from OHLGS assesses Obuasi Municipal Assembly on Performance Contract

A Team from the Office of the Head of Local Government Service on Thursday, 18th March, 2020 paid a day’s working visit to the Obuasi Municipal Assembly.

Led by Mr. Peter Essaim Asante, Director, Human Resource at the OHLGS.  The purpose of the visit was to assess key performance contract of the Assembly.

Every year, MMDCEs and District Coordinating Directors sign a performance contract witnessed by Regional Ministers. The contract contains some very key performance indicators that must be achieved within the period. MMDCDs does a self-assessment to assess the level of achievement of the contract. The OHLGS comes in to do the assessment and ascertain how indicators in the performance contract were achieved.

Key indicators District Assemblies are assessed on include Sanitation, Tourism Development, Functional Website, how Assemblies respond to Client services.

The team also included Madam Lutfata Mohaideeh of OHLGS and Madam Vivien Akumia from Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council.
