On the 19th of June 2022, an awareness creation program was held at Nkamprom-Liberty Down for Landlords in the area. Nkamprom is a suburb in Obuasi which mainly residential but is currently becoming noted for disaster occurrences such as flooding and domestic fire.
Again, on 26th June 2023, two separate teams from the secretariat met Landlords from New Estate and Old Estate at different venues due to their total number of people expected. Obuasi Estate is also noted for flooding and unplanned settlement. Therefore, these communities needed to be educated to be resilient.
